The Head of the African Governance Architecture Secretariat at the African Union Commission, HE Ambassador Salah S. This courtesy visit is part of the strengthening of relations between the African Union and RFLD. Led to the headquarters of the network by the members of the Board of Directors headed by the President, the delegation chaired by Ambassador Salah S. In the permanent concern to strengthen its cooperation with the organizations of the African Union, the Network of Women Leaders for Development (WLD) welcomed this Thursday, April 14, 2022 the Head of the Secretariat of the African Governance Architecture at the African Union Commission, Ambassador Salah S. Hammad. This visit, which is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the African Union and the RFLD, was for AGUEH Dossi Sekonou Gloria, President of the RFLD, an opportunity to discuss with his host on one of the concerns of the century. present, namely the issue of women's rights. For the president of the RFLD and the members of the board of directors present, it is with great joy that the RFLD welcomes the distinguished guest because his choice was focused on the RFLD.
During this visit, several important points were discussed by the President and her host. These include the issue of women's rights and the importance of women's rights organizations working with the AGA secretariat on human rights and good governance. As for the ambassador, the RFLD is an organization to be encouraged and supported because, despite today's constraints, it carries out actions for the protection and promotion of women's rights.
A brief presentation of the network was then made. Presentation during which the spotlight was placed on the various actions carried out by the organization for the benefit of girls and women. The visit ended with a message of encouragement from the ambassador to the president and all her staff.
