Feminist Pathways in Civic Space: A Vuka! Global Enquiry

Vuka! is a global coalition of 225 civil society organisations which has come together to help secure crucial short and long term victories to regain civic space and incubate new forms of resistance and organisation.


Vuka! would like to work with organisations interested to address the specific threats faced by women, girls and people of all genders as a result of closing civic space.


In response to your answers in this survey, we hope to create a framework through which we can enhance our collective advocacy and action in this area to generate meaningful impact.

Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement – Women Leaders Network for Development (RFLD) is a Feminist African non-profit dedicated to empowering women and youth, championing gender justice, and protecting human rights across Sub-Saharan Africa. RFLD has an Observer Status from the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) of the African Union. RFLD sits as a Member in the Working Group of the ACHPR Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders.
