RFLD provides both together. Our re-granting facility moves the funding; the Organizational Resilience Program moves the management systems; and we wrap both with the technical support and peer learning grassroots teams need to make the systems stick. The result: organisations that used to lose funding because they could not show donors the systems donors test — now have those systems, and the cash to run them.
The problem
Donor due diligence tests segregation of duties, audit trails, budget-vs-actual reporting, protected safeguarding records. Most small African nonprofits — beyond our 670 member organisations, a whole universe of them — have none of this infrastructure, through no fault of their own.
The grant
A full institutional management software suite, donated as an in-kind grant worth roughly US $5,000 per organisation. Offline-capable, bilingual (English and French), designed for the realities of grassroots operations across the continent.
The wrap-around
Software alone changes nothing. Each cohort organisation receives the technical support and peer learning needed to embed the systems — so the tools survive staff turnover, funding gaps and crises.

Sensitive modules — gender and safeguarding & complaints — are encrypted by design, so survivor records and protection data stay protected even in insecure operating environments.
