- Our Research Team has made available a Regional Data Center useful for Donors, NGOs, Media, and State actors. The RFLD Dɔnùesè Data Center aims to fill the existing gaps by providing comprehensive datasets that can inform researchers, policymakers, and activists about the state of gender equality in the region. This data not only helps identify areas requiring urgent intervention but also highlights successful initiatives that can serve as models for others. One of the center’s primary objectives is to strengthen research and analysis related to gender issues. By offering a vast repository of information, the RFLD Dɔnùesè Data Center empowers researchers to conduct in-depth studies that explore the nuances of gender dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa. The RFLD Dɔnùesè Data Center also plays a vital role in supporting civil society organizations (CSOs) and activists working on the ground. These organizations often operate in challenging environments, facing resource constraints and limited access to crucial information. By providing tools and resources, the center enhances the capacity of CSOs to implement effective programs and advocate for policy changes. For instance, armed with accurate data, activists can engage in informed discussions with policymakers, pushing for legislation that addresses gender-based violence, reproductive rights, and economic empowerment. The center’s resources enable these organizations to conduct awareness campaigns, mobilize communities, and hold governments accountable for their commitments to gender equality.
