Tracking women’s leadership and feminist movements across 37 African countries.

Dear colleague,

After months of work with our team, we are launching the RFLD African Women in Leadership Tracker – an institutional platform that brings together verified data, Afrofeminist analysis and continental advocacy infrastructure in one place.

It is built for three communities : donors seeking investment-grade evidence, civil society organisations looking for comparative continental infrastructure, and journalists needing press-ready statistics with traceable sources.

What you will find
  • Dashboard – Continental snapshot, regional comparisons, top performers and critical gaps
  • 37 Country profiles – analytical briefs
  • Gender analytics – Beijing+30 framework, quota mechanisms, pipeline gaps, women in informal economies
  • Maputo Protocol tracker
  • Afrofeminist Charter – 10 principles, movement genealogy, and intellectual genealogies
  • Theory of Change
  • Outcome indicators with 2025 baselines and 2030 targets, partnership ecosystem
