Feminist mobilisation: from the grassroots to the global level

About Course

This certificate course from the RFLD Académie is based on the material “Feminist mobilisation: from the grassroots to the global level”, produced with the support of GIZ and BMZ. It traces the origins of feminist mobilisation in Francophone Africa and presents the networks that carry it today.

You will study Resolution 1325, CEDAW, the Maputo Protocol and the African Union Convention on Ending Violence against Women and Girls. The course ends with mobilisation strategies, the difference between advocacy and lobbying, and the path that takes a local demand all the way to international forums.

Full course material: download the PDF (in French).
