CUSO International Explores Strategic Partnership with the Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD)

A delegation from CUSO International, led by Mr. Rosius Dannou, Head of the SHARE Program, was welcomed at the headquarters of the Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD) in Porto-Novo. This visit aimed to deepen the mutual understanding between the two organizations and explore the possibilities of future collaboration.

Welcomed by Mrs. Hossou Folashade, Vice-President of RFLD, the CUSO International delegation was able to discover the extent of RFLD’s actions in favor of women’s empowerment and gender equality in Benin. The discussions focused on the respective programs of the two organizations, highlighting their shared commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.

Mr. Rosius Dannou expressed his interest in the remarkable work accomplished by RFLD and emphasized the potential for fruitful collaboration between the two structures. He expressed CUSO International’s willingness to provide its expertise and support to RFLD’s initiatives aimed at gender equality and social inclusion.

Mrs. Hossou Folashade, RFLD Vice President welcomed CUSO International’s openness and expressed her delight at the prospect of a strategic partnership. She reiterated the importance of joining forces to address the challenges faced by Beninese women and create an environment conducive to their development.

This initial meeting paves the way for further discussions to identify concrete areas of collaboration and define the terms of a potential partnership. Both organizations are committed to continuing the dialogue and exploring all opportunities to work together for a better future for Beninese women.
