The delegation, ably led by the ANCB’s Pays-PMI-WILL National Coordinator, Madame Noëlie AÏDJI, took advantage of this tête-à-tête with Madame AGUEH Dossi Sekonnou Gloria, President of the Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD), to learn more about the RFLD’s modus operandi, actions, missions and objectives.

It was also an opportunity for AGUEH Dossi Sekonnou Gloria and her host to exchange views on a number of issues of general interest, an occasion which also enabled the ANCB’s PMI–WILL National Country Coordinator to learn more about the position of the Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD) with regard to the women’s cause, and the obstacles, opportunities and prospects for promoting women’s political leadership at communal level.

The President of the RFLD unambiguously emphasized the level of women’s participation in the political process and decision-making spheres, their inclusion in the democratic game, and the integration of gender skills for effective grassroots development.

Led by Madame Noëlie AÏDJI, the ANCB delegation emphasized the role that women must play in terms of interaction with institutions, whether at central or local level. It is clear to see that ANCB’s mission is to strengthen decentralization by promoting sustainable local development.
