The Africa Engage 2024 Hackathon is a two-day event in Banjul, Gambia, on October 18-19, 2024, aimed at empowering African developers and advocates to create accessible digital solutions for enhancing human rights engagement. Hosted by Magamba Network and others, the initiative focuses on increasing accessibility and user engagement with human rights tools, facilitating reporting of violations, and connecting users with relevant organizations. Participants must submit user-friendly proposals that function online and offline. The winning team will receive cash prizes and mentorship.
