Dɔnùesè: Bolster Women and Girls’ Resilience in West and Central Africa
The RFLD has established the Dɔnùesè platform to monitor laws and advocate for women’s rights in West and Central Africa. This initiative gathers and analyzes crucial gender-related data, aiming to promote gender equality and social inclusion across Sub-Saharan Africa. The Dɔnùesè Data Center emphasizes six themes, including abortion and gender-based violence, supporting policymakers with reliable insights. While legislative progress has been observed, effective implementation and advocacy remain essential for equitable environments. The platform also includes case studies and recognizes various partners that reinforce its mission to achieve sustainable development goals for women in the region.
